About Us

The Newark Church of Christ is located in Newark, Delaware. We are a diverse congregation of about 130 families.

If we could sum up our purpose in one verse, it would be Mark 10:42, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his life as a ransom for many.” We follow the example of Jesus and live our lives as servants.

This attitude manifests itself in the many ministries of our church: Aletheia Christian School and Day Care, Blue Hens for Christ (campus ministry), Bread Ministry (in cooperation with Amazing Grace Food and Rescue Mission), The People’s House (housing for families who have a loved one hospitalized), Angel Tree, Crown Financial Ministry, Car Care Ministry, and many others. Through these ministries, along with our everyday lives, we seek to show the love and compassion of Jesus to a world in need.
